Geller's Successor found in Greece
Spoon-bender extraordinaire Uri Geller is heading to Greece, after distributor SevenOne International concluded a deal for a Greek version of The Successor - The Next Uri Geller.
Greek private network ANT1 has picked up the rights to produce a local version of the talent show, which will be made by ENA Productions and hosted by Greek presenter Christos Feredinos.
The Successor was developed by Keshet Broadcasting, Kuperman Productions and Geller, and has been aired worldwide, including in Canada (CTV), Iceland (365), Turkey (Star TV), Hungary (TV2), the Netherlands (SBS6) and all over Latin America (A&E).
The show premiered in the US on NBC as Phenomenon in 2007 and originally came from Israel, where in 2006 Keshet earned an average market share of 50% with the search for Geller's successor - the highest audience share of any TV show to date in Israel.
