search in which Uri Geller, the world's most celebrated
mentalist, set out to find a protégé.
This show is an original format developed by Kuperman Productions.
Hosted by a well-known TV personality, "The Successor" is
a live studio-based elimination contest between nine hopefuls
in a variety of mind-bending, riveting acts to prove to
Geller they have what it takes to be named his successor.
The show was produced for Israel's Channel 2 broadcaster
Keshet TV winter 2006-7
"The Successor" has been sold to ProSieben (Germany) SBS6
(Holland) and TV2 (Hungary), and the U.S. version titled
"Phenomenon", which aired on NBC
in 2007, sold to CTV (Canada) and Ch9 (Australia).
